Try to practice sitting meditation as much as you can
The best way to practice sitting meditation is to find a nice quiet spot as well as a time where you will be uninterrupted for around 20 minutes.
This is a very good way to find your inner however, you have to make sure that you are sitting in a position that is comfortable and close your eyes gently.
After that take some deep breaths and use what is known as the counting technique to remain focused.
While you are meditating, make sure that you count your breaths from one till five silently in your head and when you get to give, start counting again.
Make sure you practice every single day
We all have busy lives with things like school, family, friends and work taking up most of our time and it can be hard to practice every day.
When you practice meditation on a regular basis, you will soon realize that you will slowly but surely eliminate any obstacles and begin to find inner peace very quickly.
It is important to keep in mind that meditation is just like every other skill one might learn out there, practice makes perfect.
The more one practices, the better they become at it.
Try to practice writing meditation as well
Most people might not be aware of this but there is something called writing meditation.
To do this, one has to spend 10-15 minutes of their time writing about things they are passionate about.
Doing a bit of writing help your mind stay focused and committed to meditation which is a very good thing.

Try to develop mindfulness as well as concentration
When you focus on one object or subject only, this is known as concentration.
One can easily do this by forcing themselves to pay close attention to what is in front of them.
Being aware of what is happening at a given moment is known as being mindful.
Both mindfulness and concentration work side by side very well to help a person look deeply or closely into the very true nature of reality.
Try to practice mindful walking
Walking is an activity that many people do every day whether it is at home, at work or even at school.
If you want to practice mindfulness and be at peace, walking is very wonderful and make sure it is done slowly.
Be mindful of each step that you take while making your walk a continuous and smooth movement.
This will help you be calm, cool and collected because it will make your mind slow down together with the rest of your body.
Make sure that your meditation practice fits around your lifestyle
The key to finding spiritual peace with meditation is not all about the length of your practice session, your sitting position or place, you have to make sure that you find the best time to do it especially if you have a busy schedule.
The factors mentioned above do go a long way in making sure that one develops their mindfulness, concentration as well as their observation skills.
Don’t aim for perfection but steady progress.
At the start, this is something that can be very difficult to master because stopping distracting thought is not easy.
This is something that is considered normal and no cause for concern but if you manage to have a few good moments of mindfulness or concentration then you should know that you are on the right path.
The more you practice, the deeper your concentration becomes and it lasts longer.
Overall it is clear to see that meditation is good for the body for a variety of reasons. it is something that makes us strong mental and can help you face your problems head-on with a smile.
It also makes you a very peaceful person because you are able to find inner peace and this is something that shows on the outside when you interact with people.
Meditation is also a great way to de-stress the human mind, increase emotional resilience and reduces one’s tendency to react and increase their tendency to respond.
